The Gunnison Volunteer Fire Department (GVFD) protects 2,700 square miles in Gunnison and Saguache counties. GVFD provides emergency and fire prevention services to approximately 10,000 full time residents and many more who visit our beautiful area. GVFD serves the citizens and visitors of both the Gunnison County Fire Protection District and the City of Gunnison.<\/p>\n
